“My $500+ lenses in 9 months delaminated the coating on the "Premium" lens. They would not even offer to assist. Told me $480 for their lens! I can buy glasses anywhere I want to and it definitely will not EVER be there again! Good riddance! Do not buy your Eyewear at that place! I don't just leave bad reviews either. Update: Odessa at Eye Center South reached out to me. Where was she on my first trip that was awful! I was offered assistance by her and it redeemed them. I paid what I thought was fair towards replacing my lenses. Jada was who help me and she was a doll! She is a huge asset to your store. Very personal and professional. Kudos to you!”

“Dr. Herrsink is great. The overall staff and process for patients though, nah. Find somewhere else to be seen unless you have plenty of time to waste. 1st appt, seen for surgical consult. Checked out and made f/u appt to discuss surgery date and “trial” of meds. Came to 2nd appt to be told they have nothing in the system for me even though we made that appt a month prior during the checkout at the 1st appt. Made a “3rd” appt, got here early, then left to sit in the waiting room as numerous other patients got called ahead of me. Informed a staff member I’d been waiting in this same chair for over 90 mins and was told “I had to wait for everyone else to finish”. Asked for an office manager and they refused to speak with me directly.”

“This was the worst doctors visit I have ever had. I waited 3 1/2 hours and then did not even get to see the doctor I had an appointment with. I was scheduled with Dr. Heersink (an ophthalmologist) and was forced to see Dr. Schroeder with no notice. My neurologist specifically wanted me to see an ophthalmologist. My concerns about this were dismissed. Dr. Schroeder looked at my eyes and said “Looks like papilledema” then coerced me into getting an OCT scan. He then cane back and said “you’re fine. It is not your eyes”. He offered no explanation and did not show me my scan or explain the results. He did not explain how he “saw” papilledema on the exam but then said I was fine after a scan. This entire visit was extremely unprofessional. The woman screening me was talking on her cell phone while getting my history, and used several curse words. I will not ever return to Eye Center South.”
